Seasons of Silence

Nothing may be changing on the outside but things are happening on the inside. Don't complain about the silence. There are things that you will learn in anonymity that you can't learn otherwise. God does his greatest work in isolation.

Don't compare your life to the lives of others.

Peter turned around and saw behind them the disciple Jesus loved—the one who had leaned over to Jesus during supper and asked, "Lord, who will betray you?" Peter asked Jesus, "What about him, Lord?" Jesus replied, "If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? As for you, follow me."
John 21:20‭-‬22 NLT

If you look around long enough then you'll always find someone who has it better than you in a certain area.

Like David, you may have big dreams but are alone in the shepherd's field with very little responsibility.

People usually hide valuable jewelry until a special occasion, not wearing it for day to day tasks.

Some trees look dead during some seasons. What, we can't see is that while everything looks stagnant on the outside, it is gathering sap and nutrients so that it can bloom in it's season.

God can see things that we can't see so he takes us through routes that will prepare us for our season.

When Pharaoh finally let the people go, God did not lead them along the main road that runs through Philistine territory, even though that was the shortest route to the Promised Land. God said, "If the people are faced with a battle, they might change their minds and return to Egypt." So God led them in a roundabout way through the wilderness toward the Red Sea. Thus the Israelites left Egypt like an army ready for battle.
Exodus 13:17‭-‬18 NLT

My time is too valuable to waste on insignificant things.

For our present troubles are small and won't last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!
2 Corinthians 4:17 NLT

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
2 Corinthians 4:17 KJV

God is not preparing blessings  for  me,  he's preparing me for the blessings.

When you're isolated, you don't have things to take your attention away from God.

Tyler Perry was hidden for 7 years

Mistreated by his father he would hide and come up with stories.

You may be hidden but God will always have the right people there.

Joseph was hidden for 13 years

Nothing that's happened to me hasn't been a surprise for God. We go through seasons of silence...not a lifetine

Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.
Matthew 16:20 KJV

Jesus trusted his Father's timing.

Instead of fighting the silence, embrace it.

Elijah was hidden for 3 years.

"Go to the east and hide by Kerith Brook, near where it enters the Jordan River.
1 Kings 17:3 NLT

Victoria's Exhortation

God doesn't want you to ever get stuck he wants you to live in expectancy of what he can do.

Don't wait for things to change in hopes of being happy we need to be happy now with a joyful expectancy.

They That Wait Upon The Lord, Shall Renew Their Strength, They Shall Mount Up With Wings of Eagles, They Shall Run and Not Be Weary Walk Faint
Isaiah 40:31

There is a joy in you that Jesus gave you. The righteous get brighter and brighter until the full day.

Let the SON in every day.

Ask yourself if you're shining every day.l? Make sure you're not focused on the mountain but on where the help comes from.

Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the.
Isaiah 43:18-19

You can lose time focusing on the wrong thing. A situation  doesnt have to change for you to live,  your life is happening now.

Don't make life plans that depend on a prayer being answered.

Eye-strain: Eye strain, also known as asthenopia, is an eye condition that manifests through nonspecific symptoms such as fatigue, pain in or around the eyes, blurred vision, headache, and occasional double vision. Symptoms often occur after reading, computer work, or other close activities that involve tedious visual tasks.

Cast your eyes at a distance and take in all of the life around you. It relaxes your eye lense and causes it to be more flexible.

When we focus on a specific area for a long time we take on stress but we need to look beyond that area...into the future.

Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!
Isiah 30:18
