Ready to Rise

We all have things that can push us down but we're never meant stay down.

We were created to  overcome!

We have bounce back!

Don't, enemy, crow over me. I'm down, but I'm not out. I'm sitting in the dark right now, but God is my light. I can take God 's punishing rage. I deserve it—I sinned. But it's not forever. He's on my side and is going to get me out of this. He'll turn on the lights and show me his ways. I'll see the whole picture and how right he is. And my enemy will see it, too, and be discredited—yes, disgraced! This enemy who kept taunting, "So where is this God of yours?" I'm going to see it with these, my own eyes— my enemy disgraced, trash in the gutter.
Micah 7:8‭-‬10 MSG

This problem didn't come to stay it came to pass.

He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, And established my steps.
Psalms 40:2 NKJV

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
Romans 8:11 NKJV

The enemy's best will never be enough.

Palm Trees bend so they don't break

Trees generally snap, or at least lose a few branches, when faced with hurricane-strength winds. Not palm trees. These staples of the tropics typically bend during gusty weather.

The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
Psalms 92:12 NKJV

After the storm you won't look like what you came through. The storms strengthen the Palm Tree's root system with a greater capacity for growth.

Down is not my destiny.

After listing his shortcomings he said this

Therefore I will look to the Lord ; I will wait for the God of my salvation; My God will hear me.
Micah 7:7 NKJV

A caravan had been traveling long before Joseph's brothers plotted against him in jealousy. That caravan kept him from being left for dead. He kept honoring God and living in good character so after going from the pit to the prison, he was in the palace.

Pharaoh also said to Joseph, "I am Pharaoh, and without your consent no man may lift his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt."
Genesis 41:44 NKJV

Joseph had his coat of many colors taken away which probably upset him but God had something better ahead.

How many of us are longing for the robe of many colors when we knew we were favored and loved.

But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him."
I Corinthians 2:9 NKJV

You'll be so blessed and favored that your enemies don't recognize you.

Now Joseph was governor over the land; and it was he who sold to all the people of the land. And Joseph's brothers came and bowed down before him with their faces to the earth. Joseph saw his brothers and recognized them, but he acted as a stranger to them and spoke roughly to them. Then he said to them, "Where do you come from?" And they said, "From the land of Canaan to buy food." So Joseph recognized his brothers, but they did not recognize him.
Genesis 42:6‭-‬8 NKJV

Let God arise, Let His enemies be scattered; Let those also who hate Him flee before Him.
Psalms 68:1 NKJV

When you let God arise you make him bigger than your problems.

It's important to keep a song of praise in your heart. Take the time that you'd usually spend to worry and turn it to worship.

Even if you brought the troubles on yourself you can still bounce back.

The Prodigal Son, Jacob, leaves his father's farm to seek his fortune in the city. ... With a group of followers gathered about him, Jesus tells the parable of the Prodigal Son, Jacob, the younger son of a successful farmer, begs his father for his inheritance so he can go to the city and become a rich money lender.

"But when he came to himself, he said, 'How many of my father's hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!
Luke 15:17 NKJV

"But the father said to his servants, 'Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet.
Luke 15:22 NKJV

The prodigal son had to make a decision.

For a righteous man may fall seven times And rise again, But the wicked shall fall by calamity.
Proverbs 24:16 NKJV
