Handle Worry The Better Way

Victoria Osteen @ Lakewood Church You always have the choice to give your concerns to God or work the worry. Worry is like sitting in a rocking chair. The Bible says in this world you will have challenges but be encouraged because God has overcome so know that with Jesus you can do all things. Mary and Martha were set to receive Jesus. Mary was fellowshipping with Jesus and Martha was keeping busy. Jesus wasn't discounting her legitimate concerns but pointing out the way that she was handling her life. There's one way to handle worry and that's to lay them at the feet of Jesus. Worry: To strangle. Worry chokes the fun out of life...it changes your personality for the worse by adding tension. Look for scriptures that address your problems. When fear comes sing a new song. Press against the pressure as much as it's pressing against you. Worry pulls us away from God and worship pulls us toward God. Every weight is not a sin but it's still slowing you down. (Hebrew 12:1) Mr. Wizig's Balloon Exercise! Sometimes you have to release a bouquet of balloons
